About Me

I am a mom-of-four and wife to one! My children span the years from 17 to 8 and are a perfect blend of my Scoth-Irish roots and my husband's Cuban heritage. Like most modern families, we take it ALL on and strive to find the balance between hard work and hard play.  For me, photography fits right into that balance! We lead a full and busy life but I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't go anywhere in the AM without a cup of iced coffee (but makeup can be optional). I'm a sucker for anything vintage and a high for me is a great find at a thrift store. I'm a lover of a great garden but a hater of gardening. I absolutely love to travel but can get homesick even when with my family! I prefer the beach over the mountains, beer over wine (some may consider me a beer snob) and sugary sweets over salty ones. Whole Foods honey buns are my obsession and it's a sad day when they run out!
